I asked Jasper to write about whatever they wanted to write about, and this is what they wrote:
What Jasper “chose” to write
Creativity is a mysterious thing. We all have the potential to be creative, but not everyone realizes it. Some people seem to be born with a natural ability for creativity, while others have to work harder at it. But no matter where you fall on the spectrum, there are some basic things that all creative people have in common.
If you’re looking to tap into your own creativity, here are some things to keep in mind:
1. Be open to new ideas
The most creative people are always open to new ideas. They’re constantly curious and exploring the world around them. They’re not afraid to try new things, even if they don’t work out the way they had hoped. And when things fail, they don’t dwell on it — instead, they learn from it and use that knowledge to try again.
2. Embrace trial and error
Creative people are rarely afraid of failure. They understand that in order to be truly creative, you have to embrace trial and error. You have to be willing to try new things, even if it doesn’t work the way you planned. Even the most famous artists and writers had their share of failures before they achieved success — don’t let that discourage you!
3. Seek out inspiration
Inspiration can come from anywhere: a song lyric, an interesting conversation with a stranger, an article you read online or in the newspaper. To be truly creative, you need to seek out inspiration and embrace it when it comes your way. Pay attention to what’s happening around you — there are always new ideas waiting to be discovered.
4. Take risks
Being creative means taking chances — it’s not always going to work out the way you planned, but that’s okay. The most successful artists and designers are always pushing the boundaries of what’s possible, trying new things and making bold decisions. If you want to be truly creative, you have to be willing to take risks.
If you want to tap into your creativity, remember that it takes a lot of hard work and dedication. But with patience and perseverance, you can achieve anything — and be truly creative in the process!
I find it pretty interesting that out of any topic Jasper could possibly write about, they “chose” the topic of creativity.
