The Many Neighbourhoods of Toronto
Known as the city of variety; and yes, I am spelling ‘neighbourhood’ the Canadian way
Toronto is definitely a city worth exploring, if you haven’t yet been. There’s so much to see and do, from the vibrant downtown core to the stunning waterfront. Whether you’re a history buff or a nature lover, there’s something for everyone in Toronto.
One of my favourite things to do in Toronto is wander around the different neighbourhoods. Each one has its own unique character and there’s always something new to discover. I also love how easy it is to get around the city — whether you’re taking public transit, driving (except in the very south-most part of downtown), biking, or walking, getting from point A to point B is a breeze.
If you’re visiting Toronto for the first time, the following are a few must-see neighbourhoods and the sights contained in them.
