I Got the SaunaSpace Photon
A review of one of the best quality red & near infrared (NIR) light therapy devices sold in the US
--
Disclaimer: I purchased this device with my own money, so this is an unbiased review of my first impressions of the device.
Read until the end to hear about my personal experience with red light from when I was a child.
Earlier this month I wrote three posts about the benefits of sauna, LED light, and red & infrared light therapy.
In the second of these posts, I mentioned purchasing an LED mask from Amazon. I used it for a few days but then I figured, why not just go for the mother of all NIR therapy? Go big or go home, right? So I returned the mask and instead got the Photon Light from SaunaSpace.
It arrived in the mail today in two huge boxes (I got the travel case along with it since I know I’ll be transporting it around wherever I go). The device and its cover case were both much bigger than expected! But I find that to be a good thing; the bigger the device, the more surface area the red and NIR light can cover — it has more reach and can penetrate deeper under the skin.
