After I (barely) got through the indie psychological horror video game Martha Is Dead, I came across yet another good game to potentially be of help for some new story ideas. But unlike the fictitious nature of the previous game, the horror of this episodic narrative piece of media is that the stories are all true.

Fears to Fathom

Say hello to Fears to Fathom, a first person point-and-click style indie video game that consists of a series of unrelated stories narrated by “the ones who survived”. The main gameplay here is to make choices and follow where they lead. If you make the same choices the actual person who was in the situation made, you will survive. But if you don’t…

Well, since it’s just a game, the game will restart from your last saved checkpoint. But you know that in real life, the narrator had to make the right choice the first time around in order to live to tell the tale.
