A Call for Horror and Dark Short Fiction Writers Interested in a Critique Group

Hello all you horror and dark fiction writers! I am looking to start an online critique group for our genre through discord, specifically for short fiction — short stories, flash fiction, and poetry. If you’re a horror or dark fiction writer of any sub-genre in that category of short fiction and are interested in such a group, read on for more details.

Critique Group Details

Since this would be an online group, anyone from anywhere who writes horror or dark fiction is welcome to join. I’m looking for about 5 dedicated writers. We would meet weekly and each share one short piece per meeting that we would write the week prior. During the meetings, we will workshop each piece and give our honest feedback to the writer. This is why the group has to remain small, so every piece can get equal individualized attention from all of us.

Goal of the group

The goal of this critique group is to have a fresh set of eyes look over your work as you get it ready for submission to various anthologies and literary journals, and to create a supportive and encouraging environment as a small community of dark fiction writers.
