A Call for ARC Readers of Horror Thriller Fiction
Dark, psychological body horror-thriller with supernatural elements
Time flies, doesn’t it? It seems like just yesterday, I was looking for beta readers for my upcoming book Hear No Evil. Back in March, I wrote a post detailing how you could reach out if you were interested (you can find the post here). I received an overwhelming number of responses from that post — from all of you. I am so grateful for you all taking the time to reach out and show interest in my book. I can’t express my gratitude enough for how much that means to me.
Your support and interest in my creative work is greatly appreciated!
Unfortunately, I received such a high number of applications that all the spots were filled fairly quickly and I could not accept all of you (those of you who were accepted should have received my email reply by now, so make sure to check your inbox and junk folders for that).
Fortunately though, I will be opening the application for ARC readers for this same book very soon. So, if you didn’t get a chance to be a beta reader for Hear No Evil, I encourage you to apply to be an ARC reader. Read on to find out how you can apply to be an ARC for this book!
What Is an ARC Reader?
An ARC (Advanced Review Copy) reader is a person who receives a free copy of a book in advance from the author, usually before it is officially published and marketed to the world. Unlike copies read by beta readers, ARC books are already fully edited, proofread, and ready to be shown as the final product. ARC readers are given a free copy of this finished book in exchange for leaving an honest book review on the platform where the book is published (eg. Amazon, Goodreads, or a personal website).
