5 Stories Told By Jasper
Same first line, 5 very different stories
It’s the new year, and I’ve started thinking about submitting flash fiction and short stories to publications for my 2022 short horror story collection plans. While I don’t plan to use Jasper to write any of my short stories, I thought it might be an interesting experiment to give the AI assistant the same first line prompt to see what wide variety of stories it could come up with.
I used this Random First Line Generator to come up with the first line I would use for all 5 stories:

As he flicked through the letters, a small, handwritten envelope caught his attention and his heart began to thump.
NOTE: The following stories are entirely generated by Jasper with NO interference or editing from me whatsoever other than fixing typos. This means that Jasper pretty much wrote these stories by itself.
