14 Ad Concept Sketches for a Bread Company
I put together 14 ad sketches I created for a bread company that has just come out with a new type of bread. They might be helpful if you yourself are needing to create ads at some point in your career.
Feel free to take a look for some ad creation inspiration.
#1: This bread ain’t no airhead
Sketch Explanation: This new whole-wheat bread is purported to be healthier because the new process doesn’t destroy the goodness of the wheat, as the normal Chorleywood process does. The bread contains less water and air than normal, so the texture is also better. This ad would play to the new bread having less air pockets and a better texture. The ad sketch is of a supposed “airhead”, which is the opposite type of bread to the new non-airhead bread that contains more wheat and less air.
#2: Here at [Company Name], we give “breaking bread” a whole new meaning
Sketch Explanation: The new bandana-wearing bread is karate chopping the other types of bread to pieces. The old bread is full of air pockets and leaking out excess water. The new bread is “breaking bread” (i.e. breaking down the old bread), since the old breads haven’t done their part in being pure enough wheat bread; they are too full of water and air pockets. The new bread is depicted as a bread ninja or part of the bread mafia. This gives the term “breaking bread” a whole new meaning. The word “whole” is another play on words here, since this new bread is more whole than the previous bread, being made up of true whole wheat.
